Buffy CD-ROM Cardz in Stores November 22

On the heels of Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s™ unprecedented debut on UPN and successful syndication debut on FX, Serious USA, Inc. and Twentieth Century Fox Licensing and Merchandising (Fox L&M) are proud to give Buffy fans something to really sink their teeth into -- the premiere set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer™ CD Cardz.

Buffy CD-ROM Cardz will allow collectors and TV enthusiasts alike to immerse themselves with information regarding Sunnydale’s most popular characters. Fully loaded with episode highlights, screensavers, images, creepy sounds, pictures and trivia, the first set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer™ collectible Cardz series will feature the lead characters of the series including Sarah Michelle Gellar as “Buffy,” American Pie star Allison Hannigan as Buffy’s cute but powerful witch sidekick “Willow;” James Marsters as the goth vampire “Spike,” and Nicholas Brendan as the affable “Xander.”

The premiere 4-card set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer™ CD Cardz will be available November 22 in select stores nationwide and at http://www.serioususa.com for $19.95. Serious USA will continue to release sets of CD cardz based on the television series for the next two years. Produced by Serious USA, CD Cardz are the latest in portable and affordable hi-tech, entertainment products at a price point comparable to DVDs, games or music CDs and marks the introduction of digital collectibles without the headaches of additional software and hardware installation. The rectangular CD-ROMs -- similar in size to a baseball card -- are both Windows and Mac compatible.

Serious USA previously released CD Cardz for Columbia Pictures’ computer-generated breakthrough film Final Fantasy and for Twentieth Century Fox’s Planet of the Apes™.
